Since late 2019 we have been reviewing Dr. East's handwritten diary, which he wrote while he was in the Chin Hills Burma. We have reviewed the archive in Atlanta of the American Baptist Mission, traveled to Oregon and met with the family, and visited a museum with a large collection from his time there. In addition, we have researched many books of other missionaries to get a better idea of what it was like during the time he was in the country.
